The fees are for name checking and application. 

For foreigners, you would need to hire a certified agency to help you with the application.

Under Singapore's law, all registered companies will need a Corporate Secretary. In addition, foreigners will need to hire a local director and have a registered Singapore address.

Once you have a company, you will also need to submit accounting & tax reports to the government. Your Corporate Secretary will help you liaise with the relevant personnel so these reports can be filed.

What are the requirements to incorporate a company in Singapore?
You need to have a local registered address, a Corporate Secretary and a resident director. Paid-up capital can be any amount (minimum S$1).

For foreigners, you may not have a local registered address or a resident director. If that’s the case, you can use our services listed below.

Our registered address service allows you to use our address for registration. We will handle your letters, scanning and forwarding them to you when requested. 

You can hire a nominee director from us so that your company has a resident director. A nominee director does not hold any actual authority to run the company. You can engage us for the service until you are eligible to be a resident director.

You can be a resident director once you have an Employment Pass and a Letter of Consent from the Ministry of Manpower. Before that you would still need a nominee director for your company.

Can you describe the incorporation process?
We first check the availability of your company’s name. We will ask for a copy of your IC or passport, along with details on directors and shareholders. We prepare the documents, send them to you for your electronic signature and conduct a KYC for you. We then send your documents to ACRA and your company is set up once ACRA issues a UEN.

How long will incorporation take?
Once all necessary information has been collected from you, it usually takes less than an hour to complete the process. It depends on the operating hours of the relevant authorities as well.

What’s a Corporate Secretary?
A Corporate Secretary is someone responsible for making sure the company meets all regulatory obligations. He/She ensures all necessary documents such as company resolutions and books are kept and filed regularly. This is a heavy role and requires someone with certifications and experience.

Do I need a company director? Who can be one?
Every company must have at least one director who is a local resident in Singapore.

A company director must be:
· At least 18 years old
· Of full legal capacity
· A Singapore citizen, Singapore permanent resident, EntrePass or employment pass (EP) holder
· Not disqualified from acting as a director of a company (e.g. an undischarged bankrupt)
